About the generator
Is the generator really free?
Yes. You can make and download challans without an account, up to 3 PDFs a day with a small watermark. A free account removes the watermark and raises the limit to 50 a day.
When do I need a challan?
When goods move without a sale: sent for job work, on approval, or between your own premises in the same state. A transfer to your branch in another state counts as a supply and needs a tax invoice.
Can I add the e-way bill number?
Yes. Make the e-way bill on the government portal and add its number to the challan.
